Tournament Format
64 Teams - 4 Courts (Main Court Gringos, other 3 at GVL Middle School)
Double Elimination - Teams will be placed in bracket by a team level ranking system determined by Tournament Committee.
Teams must show up at assigned time before their game. Teams that are late for game may have to forfeit.
1st Round of 64 - One game to 25 points, must win by two points and no cap. Time limit on match 25 minutes
All other Rounds - Best out of three - 21, 21 and 15 if needed. Time limit on match 35 minutes.
Semi Finals and Finals - Best out of three - 21, 21 and 15 if needed, no cap, no time limit.
Please bring your Spalding King of the Beach Ball to play with or warm up. Balls not supplied.
NO COOLERS OR FOOD ALLOWED AT GRINGOS COURT !!! WATER AND REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SUPPLIED FOR PLAYERS.

Block is NOT a touch
NO attacking serve
“Let” serves & rally scoring
Line moves - ball IN
NO open hand dinks
Foot digs are allowed
NO hand sets over the net (square or not!)
Hands Sets must be clean
Standard to standard for net play
NO hand sets off the serve

1st ball over may be doubled ONLY if hard driven**
Honor calls encouraged and appreciated
** Hard driven= No time to think about it, and if you do have time to think about it, you can set it, but it must be perfect. REMEMBER – NO HAND SETS or DOUBLES when receiving SERVES- AT ALL!
